Service rating : Get rid of the black edging.

Product : Easy to put up. Almost invisible against window mouldings. No maintenance.

Thank you for the lovely 5 star feedback. I understand your comment about the edging which would mostly affect a side-on view of a window that has no adjacent mouldings or curtains. Happily, for many windows that do, this is "not applicable". This is best asessed by potential customers when they receive a Free Sample of Extraglaze and hold it up to their windows. It's super thin in any case. I hope you discover in time that when looking at your windows in future you realise it's genuinely not an issue. It's what I call "familiarity of the new", like when you buy any new product every detail gets your attention, then it doesn't any more.

Extraglaze at the National Trust offices, Hidcote Manor Gardens

We are very proud to have installed our magnetic secondary glazing at the National Trust's Hidcote Manor Gardens, in the staff offices – to keep everyone warm in rooms where other potential secondary glazing solutions had been considered out of the question.

Price increases, & delivery costs for large items
Material prices rose several times in 2021, and may do so again: each rise has affected our panel pricing. Furthermore there has been a dramatic change in the cost to send large items because courier depots are finding social distancing a real challenge when two people have to handle a large or heavy parcel. We continue to substantially subsidise our P&P charges, however for large items we have had to increase them. Our interactive Instant Quote feature will advise you when you enter dimensions.
