Opening the windows at St John's Church of England, Lawley, Telford
The windows at St Johns are insulated using Extraglaze secondary glazing. It is unlike other types of secondary glazing, being magnetic, ultra thin and chosen for its discrete appearance. It is comparatively delicate therefore it is essential that it is handled correctly and with care.

We strongly advise you do not open the windows alone - someone else should assist you and also to act as your minder when climbing up an down to reach the panels.
If you choose to climb the seats then remove the seat coverings. Do not step on these, as they will slide beneath you.
