Important guidance is shown below

For Centre Bridging Timbers and other filler timbers (a filler timber can add a new surface, i.e. for magnets, where one might currently be absent).

Made-to-measure then primed (white). Please send us actual sizes - when you go to our online Checkout please use the Additional notes section.

Redwood or whitewood, planed on all sides. Easily cut down further to length with a hand saw. You will need to drill two or three pilot holes (please avoid screw positions near to window bar junctions).

Where sash panels butt together on a Centre Bridging Timber we recommend you specify "H" = 27mm (allows for 2 magnets each 12.5mm wide, plus 2mm extra 'play'), or 25mm minimum.

Use stainless steel screws when fitting to oak framed windows available here.
